Following on the heels of Greg Patent’s appearance on Wheel of Fortune last month, another Missoula resident — Stephen Hutchings — will appear on the show tonight. Another local, Ken DeYoung, will appear on the show next Wednesday. I only got the press release last night, so I’m sharing it as-is.
MISSOULA AREA RESIDENT TO BE CONTESTANT ON
“WHEEL OF FORTUNE”
Stephen Hutchings, a building official from Huson, MT, will be a contestant on “Wheel of Fortune” on Friday, January 14. Stephen has been a fan of “Wheel” for over twenty years and always records the show in case he misses it. In his free time, Stephen enjoys motorcycles, the outdoors and throwing boomerangs. He has been married for 40 years and says he will use the winnings to help his children. He has two sons and six granddaughters. Stephen auditioned for the show at a Wheelmobile event.
Stephen will be competing during “Picture Perfect” week, celebrating some of the world’s most picturesque vacation destinations.
Ken DeYoung, a computer programmer from Missoula, MT, will be a contestant on Wheel of Fortune on Wednesday, January 19, 2011. Ken has been married for 32 years and has two children and one grandchild. When he’s not watching “Wheel,” he enjoys National Hot Rod Association drag races and shooting pool. Ken is also a golfer and says he putts one-handed. He plans to use his winnings to do some home improvement projects and buy a pool table. In his free time, he volunteers for youth bowling. Ken tried out to be a contestant at a Wheelmobile event in Missoula, MT.
Ken will be competing during “World’s Best Beaches” week, celebrating some of the most scenic beach destinations.
