Just got word that guitarist/singer Leo Kottke will be returning to the University Theatre, where he’s played numerous times in the past, for a show in May. Here’s the detailed press release.
University Theatre Productions proudly presents “An Evening with Leo Kottke”. This concert featuring the legendary musician occurs on Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at 8:00 p.m. and takes place in the historic University Theatre, located on The University of Montana campus in Missoula, Montana.

Whenever Leo Kottke steps up to the stage or into the recording studio, one thing is certain: it’ll be a good night for the guitar. As he explains so eloquently, “My music is maybe hard to categorize, it doesn’t fit conveniently into the bins at record stores. That works for me though…I don’t rise and fall with trends. Most listeners seem to have room for this stuff. It’s been great this way.”
