The Hellgate Middle School students who participated in a world-wide coordinated dance of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” can now claim part of a world record.
According to the “Thrill the World” Web site, which coordinated the dance, the event drew 22,923 people in 32 countries to dance in the event. If certified by Guinness World Records, that number would beat the previous record for “largest simultaneous dance” by more than 18,000 dancers. In Missoula, 25 students participated in the dance.
