UM Productions is proud to present The Taj Mahal Trio Thursday, February 25, 2010 at the Wilma Theater. Taj Mahal is touted as one of the most influential American blues and roots artists of the past half-century.

Though his career began more than four decades ago with American blues, he has broadened his artistic scope over the years to include music representing virtually every corner of the world, incorporating ragtime, calypso, reggae and other idioms to create a unique blend of music that captivates a multigenerational audience.

This composer, multi-instrumentalist, and two-time GRAMMY award winner brings his trio and their unmistakable sound to the stage of the historic Wilma for one unforgettable concert.
