Best of the millenium?

December 7th, 2009 · No Comments

What’s your favorite album of this relatively new millenium? What film changed your life in the past ten years? Best book or videogame? Most memorable performance?

As the end of the first decade of the 2000’s approaches, the Missoulian is collecting guest reviews / odes / fawnings from readers about the greatest artistic products and local performances of the past ten years. We’ll run your essays in the paper and online starting Friday, Dec. 18.

If you care to share, write up no more than 350 words of sparkling prose in one of the following categories: Best Album, Best Film, Best Book, Best Videogame, and Best Local Performance/Exhibit. You’re welcome to submit essays in more than one category; but please don’t mix your albums with your films (or books, or videogames…) into the same essay. The Best Local Performance category is intentionally vague, and could include any concert, art exhibit, or other arts/entertainment event that you attended in western Montana.

Submit your entries to Joe Nickell at jnickell@missoulian.com. Please include your name as you’d like it to appear with your essay, and up to a ten-word bio about yourself (bio is optional).
