Oh, I don’t really think you’re a weenie. It just rhymed. And I figgered it might catch your eye, since I’m hoping there’ll be a crowd at this month’s Artini event at the Missoula Art Museum…I’m on their “Artini young professional committee,” which I think is hilarious, since I’m hardly professional and definitely not young. I noticed the other day they haven’t put me on the official committee list on their Web site, so maybe I’m like the stealth oldster or something. Anyway, here’s the tantalizing details…
Lace up your dancing shoes and round out your holiday season with an awesome Artini evening at MAM! Share a glass of champagne and yummy Red Bird hors d’oeuvres with friends, swing yer partner to postmodern honky tonk by BOB WIRE, and take in our six stunning exhibitions.
At 6pm, MAM Registrar and Art Historian Extraordinaire Theodore Brooks Hughes will give a talk about Expressionism in relation to our Freeman Butts exhibit. Butts’ work was recently gifted to the MAM by his estate…we’re so lucky to share in this Montana treasure!
Buy or renew a MAM membership at Artini: Gifts and get a free membership to give a friend…the perfect stocking stuffer.
As always, we’ll have a great selection of beer, wine and n-a beverages and DELICIOUS hors d’oeuvres generously served up by Red Bird.
And it’s free, of course! What more could you ask for…
See you there!
Love and presents,
MAM
